This year we have seen the biggest bakery trend hit our shores from the U.S and it comes in the form of a Whoopie Pie!
The Whoopie Pie has been making appearances in craft bakeries and retailers up and down the country. This delightful baked item is a cross between a soft biscuit and a cake, baked and filled with a deliciously sweet filling, such as butter icing or cream cheese filling.
You could also go one whoopie step further and decorate the top. These tasty little pies can be recreated easily and the flavour combinations are endless, why not try Red Velvet and Orange Mascarpone or Peanut Butter Cream flavour….emmm!
